The Learning Lounge aims to make studying attractive and effective by offering a safe, quiet and comfortable place in a crowded township, where children and students can study with concentration. But the Learning Lounge is also a place where children can learn, play and develop their creativity. Local artists can teach the children about music and creative arts.

This project has a simple, but innovative and unique concept. Combining local initiatives with entrepreneurship is what makes this project possible. Together with the township communities we create a place where kids can study. Attached is a coffee shop that is run by a group of supporting women, who keep an eye on the Learning Lounge and manage it. In doing so, we create valuable investment and advertisement opportunities that can guarantee the continuation of the project. The Learning Lounge coffee shop can be the starting point for small, personal tours where the local women can take tourists on a walking tour. Local artists can use the stage for performances.
